Vision
CSCS Volleyball has built a legacy steeped in success. The volleyball team has routinely made appearances at the State Tournament, securing six State Championship Titles (2004-2009), four “final four” finishes (2014, 2015, 2016, and 2019), and recently contending in the State Finals (2018).
In an effort to uphold this high standard that has been set before us, our volleyball program offers quality training for our athletes at every level. It is our desire to continue this pursuit of future excellence by providing individual skill development and utilizing team strategies that will enable athletes to reach the next level.
Mission
The mission of CSCS Volleyball is to develop each athlete as a whole person: spiritually, mentally, socially, and physically. In addition to producing exceptional athletes, the volleyball program strives to foster Christ-like character traits and teach essential life skills, such as servant leadership, good sportsmanship, teamwork, integrity, humility, and healthy competition.
Our coaching staff aims to partner with parents and athletes, alike, to cultivate a positive and rewarding experience through the sport of volleyball.
2019 Season
in Review
The entire volleyball program had an outstanding season in 2019!
C squad’s winning season was hard-fought as they competed in a number of tough matches! Along the way, they faced some JV teams, in addition to beating several 4A and 5A schools at their Lewis Palmer C Team Tournament. They emerged as one of the top teams in the Tri-Peaks League!
JV also had an extremely successful season! They were league champions and ended in the top half of the Spartan Invitational, competing with several top 4A and 5A teams, as well!
The girls’ varsity team had an overall record of 26-4, and closed the season as Tri-Peaks League Champions, remaining undefeated in league. They took 3rd at the Rampart Invitational, challenging some of the top 4A and 5A teams in the state. Varsity went on to win Regionals and had an incredible end to their season at State. They beat Eaton for the first time in over a decade, which launched them into the Semi-finals and a third-place finish!!
With a strong returning core and considerable incoming talent, CSCS Girls Volleyball has the potential for another amazing 2020 Season!
